I should be able to stay under 5 feet for the cable. Possibly, as short as 30", but I gotta investigate that a little more and purchase cables accordingly. I haven't ordered anything, yet, but we're going on a three week trip soon and I want to order the components along with the inverter so it all arrives before departure. I can get cable and terminals any time, after I have an install plan. Right now, I have a spot in mind, but I haven't studied the details. It'd be a nice Father/Son project for myself and my Dad when I get to Texas.
What about a disconnect switch in line after the fuse? Any problem with that?
