Thanks for the links. I do plan to use #2AWG cable. Is it a bad idea to have different lengths for the negitive and positive cables? I was considering 3' of #2AWG for ground and 3' plus three 6 inch pigtails connected between the fuse, disconnect switch then inverter lugs (total of 4.5'). Also, the manual says to ground the chassis with same size cable (#2) using a short cable.
I looked around at the tables and played with the voltage drop calculator, but it's a little Greek to me. If I know what needs to be installed, I'm confident I can handle it. I don't know all the theory behind it, but I can hook it up. I am learning, though. I certainly don't want anything to catch fire. I'd rather learn the easy way.
