I finally gave up on the bad cheap plastic cans. The only good one I have is an oldie with a vent and flex spout. I spilled more with those new carb junk ones then I ever did before, even after modding them and putting in a vent. The last straw was trying to dump in 5 gal in my truck and after about 10 minutes I think it poured in maybe 2 gallons and I had a puddle.
I ended up buying a jerry can and spout and could not be happier. I plan on getting a few more and bought them from here click
We also notice these jerry cans give a disclaimer immediately -- "Not to be used for fuel"
yes they need to do that to be able to ship them legally. Also comes with a sticker on them that you peel off. Dont worry it holds fuel just fine
