Generac generator adapter

I am about to take delivery of my new Jayco Eagle Premier 361REQS and would like to be able to hook up to my generator. The genny has a L14-30R 4 prong plug (120-240V). The camper is a 50 amp service. What kind of adapter will I need to run without frying everything in the camper. oh, and the genny does not have a switch to choose between 120 or 240 volts. thanks for the advice

    Just be aware that your genny will only provide ONE HALF of the rated output on EACH 120V "leg".

    So, if you have a 5000W 120/240V gen your will get 2500W (20A) on each 120V leg of the 240V outlet. This may or may not be just enough to run your A/C unit...

    Change the outlet on the genny. AND test it before plugging in the camper. Not that hard to change the outlet.
