Good units when they run, but a pain to source parts for. A few bits are common with Onan, a few with Honda, and even a few with Briggs & Stratton. It's all up to you to do the cross-referencing of part numbers, usually. Most of the time the parts guys won't take the time to cross sell.
I had a Generac in a class A for eight trouble free years and seven hundred hours. I have a Onon now and it has been repaired twice in two years. I wish I had another Generac.
I have a Generac pressure washer. Went looking for parts this year and found out Generac is an off brand and parts are really hard to find. I would pass.
