Generac Impact plus-36 plus II, Mo#00941-2
Generator(LP),starts but will only run for 6 seconds then shuts down. Any ideas? Thanks Helplease.

Do you have any other propane item that is fed from the same regulator that is supplying the generator? For example, if you start your stove burner on high, does it burn brightly but after 6 seconds it sort of peters out?
I think your problem smells like a fuel problem - possibly a regulator. You do have a reasonably full tank of propane....right?
