Generac q55g highline generator starter

Question

I am replacing bad starter on generator on my 1997 national dolphin . It has a genetac gn 480  q55g highline  .nowhere in owners manual does it give info on starter .only number on starter is 9508245m .if anyone can steer me in direction as to where I can buy one please help

According to a Generac Q55G manual I got from jackssmallengines.com, the pn for the starter is 0C2881

dbelectical.com shows that starter used on a lot of different brands equipment. I think the GN480 engine is a B&S v-twin. DB Electrical is a good place to deal with, and their prices are about as good as you’ll find anywhere.
