Generac tensioner pulley

I have QP75D Generac generator that has failed for the second time in less than 800 total hours of operation. The failed part is the alternator belt tensioner.Has anyone had a similar experience and or know of a fix for this poorly designed part.General no longer makes or sells parts for RV generators.Anyrvparts bought the parts rights from them.
