WestEnd, thanks for all the good info. I'll check the links.
You sound like you may be a musician or DJ also..
You know, my studio was built for the home so of course there could be lots of adjustments to going mobile but I know it can be done many ways and done well. From the jest of your post, sounds like you are saying that a studio can indeed be run off batts!!???
I guess it is all about the batteries isn't it!
For a start, no reason I can't run with headphones for a while but that's really not happening for my music. I use Event 20/20 Cubes so they like a lot of power.. When I get my ToyBox, I'll be ready to do some serious thinking about all this. I miss writing music so much right now. Was awfull tearing appart my studio after some 10 years of straight writing in there... It was my office!
I just found my Inverter which had become missplaced in the jumble of packing. It is kind of an old model but still in the original packaging. I got it to charge radio batts on my land survey work truck but never used it... It's a 600W Wagon Tech Model 9928
I like your thinking on the settup. I am truly a rookie for Solar but have done a lot of research. I downloaded and printed out a small book off line by a dude called Handy Bob who seems quite the authority on batts etc..
I should pick up an extra battery soon just so I have it and maybe switch them out as one post indicated. It will be a while before I can get to work on the new system and I'll have a boatload of roof real estate with the TC and ToyBox combined... Lot's of 140's!
