Generator break in procedure
Does anyone know if there is a correct procedure to break in a new generator? ie let it idle for so long then put it under a load for so long ?

My Champion 2000i manual says to run the gen for 5 hours at less than 50% load and change the amount of load to help the gen not get overly hot. After the first 5 hours., change the oil.
