Generator break in procedure
Does anyone know if there is a correct procedure to break in a new generator? ie let it idle for so long then put it under a load for so long ?

Owners manual just says to change oil after 10 hours. I know with some other small engines I have had, the dealer recommended a couple hours at low rpm and then ramp it up.
On other topic, I have noticed that just about all non-honda inverter generators have a 79 cc motor. Is the same manufacturer making all of the engines for these?
I know yamaha used to make engines for a couple of brands that were their 79.something cc engine.
