Generator cuts off in hot weather.
I have a Onan 5500 generator that keeps cutting off on hot days going down the road, temps around 90 to 96. It will run about 30 min then cut off will start back and run about 1 or 2 min then cut off...

The Onan generators usually have a code to identify the problem. A Cummins repair place should be able to check for codes. We had the same problem and turns out the coolant was low.
