D.E. Bishop: Sorry that you had so much trouble getting the right parts replaced the right way. Onan used to be a decent company. Hopefully you were the exception rather than the rule. Only time will tell.
MEX: I've also noticed that Onan engineers seem to make things more complicated than necessary. I REALLY dislike it when engineers specify complex fasteners when simple ones will due just fine. For example: torx screws on the oil drain cover plate instead of standard internal hex head metric cap screws for starters.
