What is the quietest 3000 generator on the market and the best for the dollar? Looking to parallel 2 of them together.

Yep ! The quietest is likely not the lowest price.
Both the Champion and and the Harbor Freight Predator are ALMOST as quiet as the Honda and a fratcion of the price.
WARNING ! Two 3000W (2800W running) generator in parallel are capable of producing over 40A, exceeding the current rating of a TT-30 power cord. With appropriate adapters, you could run one leg of a 50A RV cord.
