Generator not charging coach battery
2002 Newmar M/A DP 400 isl leece neville alternator or generator won't charge batteries. Alternator not putting out 12 volts. Should my onan generator charge my batteries?

NO, Most Gensets do not have a charge system, especially RV designed Gensets. Powertech gensets, you can order an optional charger module that is just to keep the battery up from the 12 volts used by the genset. You need to just get a battery maintainer type 120 charge module to keep your battery up. Doug
