- pianotunaNomad IIIif you want cheap go with the harbor freight 3500 electric start inverter genny. if you want a bit more quality, go with the 3400 champion with remote electric start (that would be my first choice).

I agree, but try to make that claim anytime a genset thread comes up and someone has the nerve to even think of suggesting a Honda or Yamaha is the long run a better deal. :p Apparently cheaper = better ... it's the American (and Canadian) way! :W - DownTheAvenueExplorerThe taste of poor quality lingers long after the joy of a cheap price has faded.

Not Good Quality
I just bought two of these SUA2300i units. I need them for my travel trailer so I needed them to be quiet and they needed to be able to power my AC unit. The units started right up and were quite. I was happy with that, but that's about where it ended. The main problem is that even with both units running with the parallel cable with ECO mode off as recommended, they will not provide enough power to start my AC unit. I have an older generator that starts and runs the AC unit just fine and it provides less starting watts than these combined units, so this tells me that they do not actually provide 4600 watts of starting power when in parallel mode. - gboppExplorerI don't know anything about the generator. But the price is enticing.
