Generator only runs with engine on

Thanks for all the replies. I’m going to work on it Friday. After reading everyone’s post it is leading me to the coach batteries. I will let you know what I find out. The fuel pump AC/DC power “paraphrasing” would answer why it runs for 10 mins then stops. I think it’s something to do with the battery disconnect switch file the house batteries n them being dead. Thx everyone!!!
