Generator question - let carb run dry or keep it wet?

Ok, well, if what you've been doing is causing problems, then change it up. I think a dry carb is best. And I was causing fuel to get into the oil by inadvertently leaving the fuel (and ignition) switch on on my Honda 2k...according to a mechanic who cleaned the carb.
