Generator questions!
We are looking at buying either a 3000W Honda inverter generator, or the 3000W Predator brand inverter from Harbor Freight. Will be using these to intermittently charge 2X 6V Trojan golf cart battery...

The predator brand are still too new to have any history. The early reports are good, but ..
Honda has the proven track record but $$$. The Champion inverter generators are still kind of new, but the early reports are very good and the price is much less than the Honda. If I were shopping, I would go with the Champion.
I am surprised that no one mentioned your WFCO converter/charger. Many people have replaced them with Progressive Dynamics units. They do a much better job of charging with their built in multi-stage Charge Wizard.
