I would first try to isolate this with an ohmmeter and the generator not running. With bonding plug out, check the resistance between case ground and both twistlock power terminals. Hopefully neither is close to zero ohms. Then insert the bonding plug and take the readings again. Hopefully one of them is close to zero ohms. The one that changed should be the designated neutral. Yes, used a twist lock and then 30 to 15 adapter so I could use my tester. Thanks!
