However, if the wiring diagram for your generator is correct you won't be able to find the answer by physical inspection because the duplex outlet and twistlock outlet are fed from different wires coming out of the inverter. I would first try to isolate this with an ohmmeter and the generator not running. With bonding plug out, check the resistance between case ground and both twistlock power terminals. Hopefully neither is close to zero ohms. Then insert the bonding plug and take the readings again. Hopefully one of them is close to zero ohms. The one that changed should be the designated neutral.
