Generator running AC, is single Honda too small ??

Will a Honda 2000 series generator run a 15000btu AC unit by itself? I was looking at the specs and the Honda EU2000i makes 16.7 amps and after testing my AC startup amp draw it is just a little over ...

Our 15 starts and runs ok at sea level 95F ambient with Honda 3000. Not tried it higher and hotter. Also ok on shore power 15a pedestal. (requires careful 120v "power management" of course)

Ours is a long bed, so the H3000 fits nicely between the hitch and the tool box.
