Generator won't turnover from inside motorhome

I have a 1998 Winnebago with a 4000 watt Onan generator. Generator won't turnover from inside motor home. Starts fine using switch on the generator. Once started, the inside off switch works fine. An...

I'd start with an electrical schematic and a VOM. Might be a terminal pulled off of the switch. Could be a relay, you are just going to have to trace out the system and find where you lose power.
