My book does not give the wire colors.
The fuse could look good but still be open. Fuse 1 provides power to the remote operator. These are odd fuse!
Service manual troubleshooting.
1) control fuse bad replace
2) if engine cranks at set but not at remote control panel, fault is due to:
a pc board p2/j2 connection not secure
b open circuit in remote control
c remote start switch faulty
Another thing you may try:
Start genset from the unit, then go inside and shut it down. Then see if it will start from inside. Latching relays can do strange things.
What is the series of your genset and what spec letter?
