Generator won't turnover from inside motorhome

I have a 1998 Winnebago with a 4000 watt Onan generator. Generator won't turnover from inside motor home. Starts fine using switch on the generator. Once started, the inside off switch works fine. An...

I started it from the gen set and turned it off from the inside and problem still exists.There are 2 remote switches and neither one works so I'm guessing its not eh switches.
I'll check on the series and spec letter and get back. It may not be until tomorrow, getting dark and thunderstorm moving in.
