Generator won't turnover from inside motorhome

I have a 1998 Winnebago with a 4000 watt Onan generator. Generator won't turnover from inside motor home. Starts fine using switch on the generator. Once started, the inside off switch works fine. An...

That is the number for the regulator.
There is another circuit board above the opening for the regulator. The remote cord plugs directly into it. It is behind the fuse and start/stop switch.
