Generator won't turnover from inside motorhome

I have a 1998 Winnebago with a 4000 watt Onan generator. Generator won't turnover from inside motor home. Starts fine using switch on the generator. Once started, the inside off switch works fine. An...

The two switches are then paralleled to the circuit board in the genset.
The remote wires go into the circuit board, then should operate a small control relay. You need to check the common point on the switches for 12 volts DC power.
If no power is present it will not operate. That is when the fuse, at least on mine, comes into the equation.
