Generators..What to Purchase
We know nothing about generators but are doing some research. Need to purchase one for emergency use and to use for beach camping. How big do we need to go to run a 15K AC and a few misc. items???

How much can you spend? Not how much you want to spend
With most of us there is a difference, we want to spend as little as possible

At the beach ? Alone or are there other people nearby, state campgrounds or remote private access
Are you going to use it anywhere else?
Size as already been stated not less than 3000 Watts, the closer to 4000 the better
Here in Calif, i don't normally need the a/c at the beach
But i do need the MW and battery charging
