Genset....need one. Advice.

I had two Yamaha 2000 inverter generators. Both failed at around the 1600 hour mark with excessive oil leaks. Both went through the Yamaha warranty repair process. Neither one was repaired to the level where it could be used as a reliable unit.

I thought paying a premium price for a "quality" product was money well spent. obviously,not the case with Yamaha. I have multiple generators now and all of them are Honda. FWIW
