Genset....need one. Advice.
I'm looking at a new 2000w genset. I know about the reliability of Honda and Yahama, but what is your experience with Champion or Generac? Or does anyone have other ideas? Thanks!

- Actually the Honda is only a pound lighter and no quieter that the Champion. I owned, owned, a yahama (not ready to discuss that yet).
- Honda's are very light, and so is the Yamaha. Champion and Generac have a lawn mower type of engine, and they are not quiet.
It is important to get something quiet enough that the other campers will not object to it. Also something light enough to carry and put into the pickup too. Many will hook together a pair of Honda 2000 generators to run a A/C unit and charge the battery.
Mayberrys.com sells for a great price. But you have to call them to get the best price.
