I don't know the answer to any of those questions, but I'm sure if you're persistent, you'll get what you need.
I do know, that for 2016, Winnebago is going this route in their Class B Travato lineup. Previously, they were using an all electric Atwood marine WH. That's what I have and frankly, I don't find it all that inconvenient to operate. You might also look into them. Atwood also makes models that augment the electric heat with heat from your car's radiator coolant.
CO is nothing to joke about and I see a lot of it in your future with DIY venting on the Girard.
