Gladiator QR35-TR Tires - "All Steel"??
Seriously considering replacing my Westlake 235/80/16 E rated, 10-ply, tires with some G-rated, 14-ply, Gladiators.
Been reading a number of posts referencing two different types of Gladiator QR35-TR 235/85/16 tires. A number of folks have recommended purchasing the "All Steel" version (#1143273865) vs. the other version which is supposedly not "All Steel" (#1933273865).
Called Greg at Gladiator tires and he told me that all Gladiator part numbers start with "19", so the #1143273865 part number is a mystery to him. He did say there are two versions of the Gladiator QR35-TR 235/85/16 tires. Both, he said, are "All Steel"; however, one version has a higher load capacity. Part #1942273865 with 4080 lbs. vs. part #1933273865 with 3748 lbs.
Are there some NOS (new old stock) Gladiator tires (with old stock numbers) still being sold that may be confusing the issue?
