Since you are going to spend the money to go MPPT, why mess with the 12v panels. A 230w panel at solarblvd is just $15 more that a 100w panel. 20a MPPT controllers go from $102 to $250. Need more than that and you certainly want to go with 24v panels if they fit on your roof.
