I'd recommend either two Trojan T-105's (purchased through golf car distributor) or two Sam's Club/Costco 6V's if budget is constrained. The Trojan's are the industry standard for 6V batteries but the other discount brands work just about as well.
FWIW, I purchased two 6V Energizer brand batteries from Sam's Club for $190 out-the-door. This included core charge and tax. Purchased two years ago.
