I have no objection to owner directed dealer installations. What I hate is when the dealer knows better and provides substandard parts at exorbitant mark ups.
I had an oil change this spring from my storage dealer. I provided the oil and filter. They stiffed me $144.00 smackers. The previous year it had been $89 with them supplying the oil.
