I asked a Mexican golf course in Manzanillo about gasoline powered cars. Man that guy sure knew his "groserias" (Spanish for curse words). "these **** ****** have been nothing but problems since the ******** demanded we have gasoline ones. I cannot wait until they buy electric cars!"
Now that electronics are common for voltage manipulation, it is worth considering to put a 36 to 24 volt reducer for lighting and then buy inexpensive good looking CREE 18-watt floodlights for night time. A pair will light forward just as good as auto headlights. A pair consumes less than one ampere.
