Goo Gone for removal of butyl tape residue: thumbs up

It does not smell like Zippo fluid. But I would avoid using it around flame, for sure!

This version of "Surface Safe" Goo Gone is not as strong as the Original version, which will dissolve many plastics. I think it is a different chemical, but I really don't know.

Is it true, by the way, that WD-40 will dissolve dental plaque? I have never had the courage to do the experiment. ;)
