I doubt they will like you at quiet Walmart with open frame generator running overnight.
You might fit right at Rest Stop on truck pad, although newer diesels are quieter as well.
California made a law forbidding long idling and guess what kind of generators are truckers mounting on their rigs?

That means you need to fill it up 3 x a day and have lot of cans if you plan to camp for few days.
On my Honda EU3000 the 3 gallon tank last 24 hr on average day, or 13 hr running 15k AC constantly.
