This is really interesting.
Can I ask - why the 60 amp unit instead of 75 amps for $10 more?
Is it the 75 would be to much current?
What if you got a 75 amp unit, set it for 14.4 or whatever limited it to a safe current for the battery bank and then raised it to 14.8 as the battery took less current?
Currently I have the original 2 "marine" batteries in the 5th wheel and am mostly on hookups. However I very occasionally boondock for a week or so a couple of times a year (eventually want to do more) and like the idea of getting the batteries back to 90% or so quickly. I also have 2 AGM batteries in the truck I can lean on if I need to. They are Diehard Platinum, which I believe is made by Odyssey
