Grey water tank leaks

I have a 1999 Fleetwood Southwind Class A motorhome. Recently i noticed the grey water tank leaks from the top when approaching full. Any advice about how to locate the problem is appreciated. The tank and the top of the tank are not visibly accessible.
  • If the leak is coming from the top vs the side the tanks obviously full ... you can probably have the tank dropped and gasket fixed but then it backs up into your shower.
  • My fleetwood prowler does the same thing. last winter my stinky slinky froze without my knowing. After about three or four showers the tank was full with no way to drain it. any water added to it was leaking from under the trailer. I was so bummed thinking the tank froze and burst. But as soon as it thawed it was right back to normal. I tired like hell to find where its at but couldnt so i just left it, figured its fine as long as its not full
  • Mine does too. 2001 Fleetwood Flair. I think that I read somewhere that they cut a hole in the top of the tank to receive the venting pipe but they don't bother to seal it and that is why there is water overflowing out the top of the tank. I don't let mine get to 3/4 full and it seems to be ok. However I can't help but think of the fact it's just venting into one of the bays and not out the roof stack like it is supposed to.
