Two wires to your new light fixtures. One power wire to the vacant distribution panel position and one wire to either DC (-) ground bus, the battery, or the frame.
I don't like having a bunch of frame grounds spread across the frame. I'd rather pull more wire and use busses. I have two wires to the frame, an AC ground to the load center and a DC ground to a buss.
