Definitely buy this plug for replacement. Not only easier it has a longer rigid shank which eliminates the flexing of the cord at the plug like on the others which loosens the wires over time. And IMHO it holds it tighter.
No more replacements for me after I switched over to this style.
Also because of the varied less than perfectly wired, loose outlets power stations we use traveling I make a point of sanding all the prongs periodically. Helps prevent them getting hot from bad connection. Take a look at you prongs if they are black or corroded you are on your way to melted plugs from resistance.
