One cable (positive) enters the inverter at the back, top. It connects to a large copper wire that is the winding of the transformer
The other cable connects to the back side of the circuit board. It's a very challenging task to connects to the circuit board and not bend or break the board, or damaged the front panel mounted circuit board connector. Someone "in the know" can do it in 5 minutes, using the right techniques.
There's various circuit board mounting feet that will break of the aren't release prior to removing them when trying to get at the back side of the board.
