The sensor has to be around one wire of a pair. My cousin had it set up to read just the converter--but then changed it to read too and from the RV. So when the converter is charging it reads that number less any load from the rv.
Now that I rarely use the converter, it reads the house loads as a negative number.
I know that Mr. Wizard had one of them fail.

What if one wire will be on discharge and other on charging?
