Harbor Freight 45w Solar for $139
I don't do much dry camping, but I'd given some thought about experimenting with solar just for the heck of it. Is this HF kit (on sale today for $139) a good, basic, entry level kit? The HF reviews...

I would not recommend getting this system from harbor freight.
You can buy a single panel (The kit is three of these panels)
It lasted about two years. You could get a 100 watt poly panel
and controller for about the same price on EBay. And likely longer
Life. I'm sure there are plenty here that would gladly help you
with any issues you would need help with.
