Would be interested to see further reviews from someone who is running one and then a long term review... but that will obviously take some time.
Did a look through all the product pages, manual, etc and didn't see country of origin but as mentioned, probably a Chinese manufacturer. That doesn't necessarily mean it will be bad especially if there are tight QA controls. I've been happy with my two Champion inverters so far. For the price, might be worth the gamble as someone has to be the guinea pig.
