HF has been trying to upgrade their products and their image for the past year or so. In some case, they will have 2 or 3 different grades of the same tool.
Durability and parts availability are the 2 big issues when comparing anything to Honda.
Having said that, I think Honda has been resting on their laurels for too long ! The EU2000i is a fine piece of equipment. They need to replace it with a more cost effective model that is still as durable.
They need a smaller, lighter version of the EG2800i and why in the world are they putting a twist lock outlet on it and the EU2000i Companion when most buyers are RV owners !
