HF spec is 57 dB @ 27 ft
Honda's is 57 dB @ 9 ft
If you scale (assuming spherical spreading) the Honda from 9 ft to 27 ft the Honda measures 47.5 dB
This is the problem with comparing specs, when you have no idea what they actually mean.
Now spherical spreading doesn't work in a real-world case like this, but the Honda is still going to be (roughly) 10 dB quieter.
Yes I do know what I'm talking about I worked in acoustics for over 30 years.
