I bought a Boliy 3600 which is a Yamaha clone, I was told it would be a POS and last 6 months at best.. that was 6 years ago and it's been 100% reliable and has several thousand hours on it..
I bought mine from bottom line trading in Marble Falls,TX.. the guy I spoke to insisted that I return it to him for any warranty issues and he would repair/replace the unit personally. but as it's never gone wrong and is now out of the warranty period I will never get to call him..
not having the original box does seem kind of strange though..
