far as TSC, I was 'clued in' by the store manager. I didn't dream it up in my sleep and HF has offered that return policy for a long time. I would suspect the retail markup on HF's stuff is close to 100%. IOW the 699 genny really cost 350 bucks and the 99 buck Pred 6.5 engine really cost 49 bucks.
Warranty and returns are a game of chance. Most people eat it and go on and the seller smiles.
